Here are the best Thai Food restaurants for your visit to Thailand .

 Kittichai

Standing proudly in the middle of a luscious green garden, this 100-years-old house with its wooden verandah and old fashioned staircase instantly sets a romantic mood, making it a perfect place for duo dining. This is not another pretty tourist place: Thais, expats and the few travelers who make the effort to discover it are unanimous - the combined charm of a heritage house, exceptional service and the renowned culinary flair of Chef Ian Kittichai makes Issaya Siamese Club an outstanding restaurant

Bo LAN Restaurant

Recognised for many years as one of the best Thai restaurants in Bangkok, Bo Lan is not your everyday local eatery. This is the kind of place to invite your discerning friends or when you want to impress visitors who think they tried it all before. The name 'Bo.Lan' comes from the two chefs 'Bo' (Duangporn Songvisava) and 'Dylan Jones' who were both inspired and worked under the supervision of Michelin stared chef David Thompson at Nahm London.

Sala Rim Nam at the Mandarin Oriental

Sala Rim Nam at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok combines all the elements to be one of the best romantic Thai dining experiences. This is not an easy to achieve with so many great restaurants all around town, and Sala Rim Nam succeeds by combining few key elements… an amazing location by the riverside, not two meters from the water but right next to your table! Add to this the legendary Mandarin Oriental service, and of course all these would be meaningless without the key ingredient of a truly great place: the food!

Baan Home Cuisine

Baan Restaurant on wireless road is a hidden place serving real Thai family cooking, prepared by the very talented Chef Ton from the now-famous Ledu Restaurant in Silom. TThe food at Baan (meaning ‘home’) is 100% Thai without compromise; Chef Ton has brought these recipes from his childhood and added his knowledge of traditional ingredients and cuisine. So if you have been living in Thailand for a while or are a frequent visitor, names listed on the menu such as Som Tum and Kao Pad will definitely look very familiar. Some might (and will) ask why should you to pay more to eat dishes that can be found on the streets for half the price. The answer is simple: this is what makes the difference between ‘Food’ and ‘Cuisine’; between ‘cooking’ and ‘home cooking’ (in addition to a brand new cozy restaurant with air-con of course). This is also where the passion for cooking steps into the bigger picture. Chef Ton brought his best Savoir-Faire (means ‘know how’ but you knew that) to Baan, and each dish takes you further than just your regular fried rice on the street. Of course not everyone will be able to appreciate the difference it makes to use free range eggs and grass-fed, dry-aged beef, but let's hope most of you will. Opening Hours: Lunch 11:30 - 14:30, Dinner 17:30 - 22:30 - Closed on Tuesday Address: Just next to Lumpini Park on Wireless Road, near Japanese Emabassy Tel: +66 (0)2 655 8995, +66 (8)1 432 4050
